Prestbury Newsletters
Winter 2007

Greetings Everyone!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday and we hope you are thawing out from all the cold weather we have been having. We apologize for not getting a newsletter out sooner. Some of you may not know that as of last summer Leigh Ann Bullin was unable to continue as president due to other responsibilities. Katherine Allen will be taking her place. Anna Price, Sue Spear and Gayle Vance will also continue to serve on the board. We would like to thank Leigh Ann for her years of service on the board.

We will be having our annual meeting this coming Tuesday March 6th at the Terrace Mews clubhouse. We decided to wait until early March so that McKinney Management could give us a complete financial report for the previous year, and because January is usually a cold yucky month for meetings.

Don't Forget!!!
HOA Meeting
7:00 PM
Tuesday March 6, 2007

Location:
Terrace Mews Apartments Clubhouse
3800 Cotswald Avenue
Across the street from Walmart

If you are interested in serving in any capacity on the board please let us know as soon as possible. There will be positions to fill including the need for people to serve on the Architectural Review Committee.

As many of you have noticed the trees have been removed for the upcoming development of town homes at the end of Tuliptree Drive. Despite efforts to keep the street closed by the developer and by the neighborhood, the city of Greensboro is requiring that the street be cut through to allow better access for city service vehicles such as fire trucks and ambulances. Fortunately, the impact on our neighborhood will probably remain small. The site will be leveled and the road, water and sewer will be put in place over the next few months with construction due to begin in late spring.

We enjoyed seeing everyone at the neighborhood party in the fall and we hope to do more events like this in the future. It was nice to get to know some of you better and others of you for the first time.

Congratulations to all of the families who have had babies in the past year. We would love to mention you by name and put big announcement banners on your door, but for safety's sake we hope you will accept our sincere low key congratulations.

For those of you who are new to the neighborhood - Welcome. We hope you will join us at the neighborhood meeting so we can get to know you better.

Thanks to everyone for doing such a good job keeping your lawns and homes so nice. It makes coming home so pleasant when the neighborhood looks neat and clean. It will be a treat to see all the spring flowers in bloom over the next few months.

In our next newsletter, we will have a section for neighborhood entrepreneurs to advertize their services. If you or your child would like to put something in this section, please let me know.
